Bio:  Salar Rivani, Esq. is an attorney with a proven track record of uplifting communities through nonprofits and legal advocacy.  Salar graduated from Brooklyn Law School in 2014 with a criminal law certificate and worked his way senior staff attorney at the Urban Justice Center’s Domestic Violence Project, focusing mainly on litigation to protect survivors of abuse.  During law school, Salar also spent significant time interning for the Legal Aid Society.  Salar’s focus has always been on community and during his time serving nonprofits, he gained an intimate knowledge of the issues affecting communities all over New York especially those related to heightened incarceration rates of people of color.

Salar also founded Alaf Equity PLLC, a solo law practice and consulting firm, to provide a transparent and cost-effective approach to legal services for all.  Salar is excited to bring a greater legitimacy to nascent markets in New York and provide guidance for those who need it most.
